A Bit About El Paso, Texas
Located on the Rio Grande River, El Paso connects the U.S. to Juarez, Mexico, and the state of New Mexico. It’s the largest city of all the U.S. – Mexico border cities. El Paso was established in 1850 and has a long history that goes back to the Wild West time period. Tales of Pancho Villa and Billy the Kid reign through El Paso Street, the oldest in the city. It’s a town filled with culture and is known for its large military presence as it also is the home to Fort Bliss. The city has doubled in size over the past few decades and has expanded in every direction. As a continuously growing city, it ranks 6th largest in the state of Texas.
